Is it possible that Leonard Cohen and I have the same monitor?

I went to the nearby Megastore tonight to buy the new Leonard Cohen CD (have I mentioned how much I adore Leonard Cohen's music?), and was delighted to find that the first season of 21 Jump Street is now out on DVD.

In other news, this is probably worth noting on the calendar.

I found this linked somewhere else (the fabulous Ask MetaFilter, perhaps?) a little while ago, and feel the need to share it: Cooking for Engineers. I just love the little recipe tables -- they really appeal to my extremely spatially-oriented mind.

OK, that's a lot of blogging (for me) for one night....

I am quite excited about this. Perhaps a little too excited. But I just have a feeling that this will be the next big party trick for anyone who is wandering around the streets of NYC with friends.

A few weeks ago, as part of the first ever New York Musical Theatre Festival, or NYMF (pronounced "nymph"), I got to see the (fairly) new show Caligula. I really enjoyed it. But I mention it (and link the website) now because there are audio clips to be heard on the site. Very cool.
